Dr. Kantro and his staff LIKE children, and pride themselves on being able to teach children about the importance of good dental hygiene while having fun.Your children will be taught how to brush properly, and how to floss their teeth too.
Whether your children are there for an examination, x-rays, fillings, or fluoride treatments, we try to make their experience a positive one.
We will provide music with headphones, or our young patients can bring their own.

The best time to take your child for his or her first dental visit is before his or her 2nd birthday -- or at least before all 20 of their first set of teeth have appeared. The earlier you begin, the better chance your dentist has to prevent problems.
We encourage our patients to come by with their young children to introduce them to the office before they will need treatment. We have a television set up in the reception area so they can watch a movie while they wait.
Of course, if you notice a cavity, or if a tooth should get bumped or injured, your child should have a dental examination immediately.
